Jessica Rae Cortez is a creative mind based in Southern CA. Presently she is a contributing writer for The Record Rebellion and The Owl Mag. Past editorial work has appeared in publications such as DiscoverSD and San Diego CityBEAT.  In 2004 she received a B.A. in Journalism- with an emphasis in Creative Writing- from Point Loma Nazarene University. As a recent graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, with an A.A. Professional Designation in Visual Communications, she looks forward to the synthesis of art and the written word. She currently blogs and works for CYT to bring in the dough.
